We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and to let you know what to expect on your first visit.
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We understand that you, or your child, may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs and take the time to get to know you by actively listening to your past dental experiences so we can provide optimal care in the future. It is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.
During your first visit we will:
- listen carefully to your dental concerns.
- answer all of your questions.
- review your dental and medical history forms.
- take any necessary digital x-rays.
- perform a comprehensive evaluation of your mouth.
This evaluation includes an oral cancer screening, checking for tooth decay, gum disease, supporting bone structures and other problems that can affect not only your mouth but your overall health. The doctor will discuss his findings with you, create your own individual treatment plan, and answer any questions that you may have. At your next visit, one of our hygienists will clean and polish your teeth, checking your teeth and gums for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis.
We look forward to meeting you and want you to feel comfortable and have a pleasant experience when you come to our office. Please allow 70-90 minutes for this first visit. Please fill out our forms prior to your visit and bring
- A list of your medications
- Your insurance card
